Africa
Visions
blurred by the blunders of your once bold men,
Who
lead past the grey hairs of wisdom.
Years
of senility and impotence breed strife,
I
see your multitudes losing life,
And
yet no one stops to think twice,
To
restore sanity respecting the sanctity of life.
Looters,
militaries, militias so militant and insistent,
So
they rape and ravish the dignity of your women and children
Desperation,
defiance and impunity in the corridors of power,
Make
your hopeful smiles turn into cries.
Paradoxies
of regeneration and degeneration accross regions,
Keep your multitudes guessing in the cages of diasporas
